Modern Tax Law is an independent home for specialized tax education and practical tools created by Christopher Attar, a tax attorney with over a decade of experience. Modern Tax Law is not a law firm. It is created solely for educational purposes, independently of Christopher's legal practice at Bodman PLC.
Christopher is currently a partner at Bodman PLC in Detroit, Michigan, where he focuses on complex trust and estate planning for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. He previously advised on complex M&A and strategic transactions at General Motors and on state and local tax at PwC.
His QSBS work spans the full lifecycle, from entity formation and equity issuance through qualification analyses and attestations, trust planning, exit planning, and deal structuring.
